The Denver Republican Women have hit the ground running in 2024, kicking off the year with a series of events that have energized and engaged the community. The highlight of the January meeting was our special guest speaker Heidi Ganahl. The former University of Colorado regent and gubernatorial candidate shared her insights on "The Road to Red," leaving us all with a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm.
In February, we welcomed Vera Ortegon, Colorado's National Committeewoman to the Republican National Committee, who shared her personal story of patriotism and lifelong service to the Republican Party. Ortegon's compelling journey served as a powerful reminder of the importance of civic engagement and the enduring strength of the American spirit.
While our March meeting was canceled to allow members to attend the Denver County Caucus, we didn't take a break. Instead, we engaged in a day of action at the Colorado State Capitol. With parental rights, freedom of speech, school choice, and the Second Amendment under severe threat, participants had the opportunity to make their voices heard.
The energy and enthusiasm we felt at the Capitol was palpable. Our members were passionate, articulate, and unwavering in their defense of our core Republican values. It was a powerful display of grassroots activism.
Will you join us in this fight to protect the freedoms and principles that make our party and our nation great? The Denver Republican Women are leading the charge, and we need your help.
